I have looked over the cad 5 times now and still cannot get any clarity. I think every race has 4 strong contenders. Until I figure out a strategy, I'll hold back. I know we will see some of the picks emerge as winners, some as placers and some as "show"-ers, but I'd like to gt that "warm fuzzy feeling" about the picks. Haven't got that yet.
Hang tight and we'll see what is going on.

This card is not what I call favourable. I am taking a large "pass" on most of it

BUT if you want to take a "swing" at some of it, be forewarned - larger value but risky...........drive slowly.

Here are a couple....

Race 1: Slot Luck #9 9/10,8,4

Race 3: Unique Fighter #5 5/9,8,3

Race 4: Artiovascular #5 5/3,9,4

Race 6: Grandslam Hall #6 6,5,1 tri box

Race 8: Lifes a Beach# 4

Like I said - risky night but IF we hit One we will cash in more than likely WPS bets for me.

Race 11: Talk Forever

This can be considered a "fun" play. I could get shut out here but I think it is worth the try given my "holdback" a bit tonight.
I like the Waples angle combined with the #1 slot. This horse has what it takes and am hoping to see 5-1 or better if people are asleep at the wheel.

I apologize trytry....I WAS referring to #3 Grandslam.
I accidentally put "6" as I had 6th on the melon. THAT is also why I write the horses name as well as the number - isn't the first time I have made that mistake in haste.
If you feel better, my tri box ticket was 1-5-6 !!!! lol Same error you asked about

I am keying #5 as the winner. The others are logical exactor/trifecta horses. usually I'll name them in a preferred order.
Tongiht was a bit brief since I was not heavily committed to this card. Hoping to pull a few W/P donkeys out of this mess. Exotics would be few and "extras"

im not 1/5th the Mohawk handicapper that you are but since you are not pointing to anything in the 9th I can say a few buddies and I have found a horse #2 Dr. Pete who will go off at a good price (maybe 9-1) we think he will get the right kind of trip to win this race. see ya tomorrow!

better card tomorrow. I will be looking at it thru the day for some gems.
We are getting to a point in the season where some of these horses are burned out from all the summer events. Have to pick our bets and have deep pockets to avoid getting burned.
